Philippe Villeneuve

One of the coolest tattoos I’ve ever seen is on Philippe Villeneuve's arm. He’s the chief architect in charge of the restoration of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The tattoo serves as a notepad of sorts. In a recent 60 Minutes episode, he explains how he uses it as a handy diagram when describing to others: “It’s very practical; when I have to explain how the spire fell, it’s always better to show that from here to there, it tipped over”.

It’s very inspirational to see the amount of dedication and love being put into this enormous work of art. For anyone who didn’t catch the episode, well worth the 13 and a half minutes of your time.
