I'm fascinated with this series by photographer Peter Menzel. In his book "Material World" (1994), he documented 30 statistically average families from 30 countries, capturing them with all of their possessions.
Imagine how equally fascinating it would be to revisit these families 30 years later and see how their lives and belongings have evolved.
