Japanese Houses
One of the things I love about Japanese residential architecture is how often the car becomes part of the design.
With space at a premium, parking isn’t something added after the fact…the house is shaped around it, tucked under it, or sometimes seemingly balanced on top of it.
They’re a great example of how constraints can force some of the most interesting design decisions.
