Fontanesi

I love the work of Fontanesi, who creates surreal collages through split-frame photography.

Through a masterful play on scale and exaggerated perspective, these images invite double takes. What first appears accidental reveals itself as deeply intentional. There's a deceptive simplicity in the compositions that gives way to a second layer of meaning, often provoking a smile once the illusion clicks.

That first read, the immediate impression, feels effortless and it’s exactly what makes the work so satisfying. It’s visual storytelling with a wink.
