Hyojung Seo

I love the work of Hyojung Seo, a professor at the Samsung Art & Design Institute, whose generative art pieces are mesmerizing, whimsical, and a joy to watch. I applaud how site-specific her installation is, as it keys off windows and the facade's dimensions.

With the advent of LED digital billboards that are highly configurable, along with architecture cladding designed as a billboard (i.e. Sphere), I'm excited to see demand for digital motion art increase.

When the cost of transforming your building into a gigantic monitor becomes increasingly affordable, will metropolitan facades allow for a new wave of graffiti artists to emerge using pixels over spray cans?
