How the Covid-dragon Disappears

I wrote and directed "How the Covid-dragon Disappears," an animated short film dedicated to honoring the courageous essential workers who bravely faced the challenges of the 2020 pandemic.

In the film, a knight engages in an epic battle against the formidable Covid-dragon, and we discover the knight is not alone in this fight when a young boy shines a light on the collective strength of our community.

This heartfelt animated short was brought to life entirely during the months of April and May in 2020, a time when the reality of the pandemic was becoming increasingly apparent.

I'm proud of this piece because the team and I turned to creativity to help us through those long days. I heard from many friends, colleagues, and acquaintances that the short helped their kids appreciate the battle. Additionally, I heard from many front-line workers how appreciative they felt to be appreciated.
