Guillermo Galetti

I love the work of Guillermo Galetti, a physical education teacher and blacksmith from Argentina, who uses scrap and junk to make kinetic sculptures and even prosthetic armatures.

"My mission remained simple: to find a didactic and economical way to illustrate sports movements through metallurgy."

His pieces imbue a sense of charm, play, and ideation that to me, is the essence of bricolage (the process of improvisation in a human endeavor).
