Ekow Nimako

The overlap of LEGO, storytelling, and sculpture is a sweet spot for me. I'm a big fan of Ekow Nimako, who is a Ghanaian-Canadian LEGO artist known for his life-sized sculptures crafted exclusively from black LEGO. He produces pieces that speak about myth and historical African identity narratives.

From his site: "His fluid building style, coupled with the Afrofuturistic themes of his work, beautifully transcend the geometric medium to embody organic and fantastical silhouettes."
