That’s me riding the waves in Venice, CA while my wife supported me using an industrial-sized fishing pole that I made.

I found this very old project while I was prepping my portfolio recently. At the time (many years ago), my wife was supporting me through grad school, and this was a project that required me to diagram structural support. Hence, it seemed appropriate to have some fun with the notion that I got to ride the waves of academia while she held down the lift of my weight.
